VISITING YOUTH WORK MODELS FOR CAPACITY BUILDING
Bülbülzade Association strengthens its institutional vision in international youth work through the Erasmus+ KA151 project supported by the Turkish National Agency.
As the Center for Science, Education, Culture, and Research (BEKAM), we carried out a strategic study visit to Cologne, Germany, together with Bülbülzade Association in order to increase institutional capacity in youth work. This activity, organized within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA151 project supported by the Turkish National Agency, was attended under the leadership of Bülbülzade Association by representatives of Bülbülzade Foundation, BEKAM, AKADDER, and Mozaik Women and Family Association. Within the program conducted under the title “Visiting Youth Work Models for Capacity Building,” important steps were taken for international youth work.
CRITICAL MEETINGS
Within the scope of the visit, our delegation came together with the host organization US Akademiker Plattform and held critical meetings that will strengthen inter-institutional interaction. At the end of the meetings, we signed a comprehensive cooperation protocol that formalizes future joint work. As the first outcome of this strategic step, we developed a new Erasmus+ KA210 project and initiated the application process.
PROJECTS SCHEDULED
During the program, our delegation examined on-site the operational networks and solution partners of the host organization in Cologne. In this context, visits were made to the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Cologne, Maarif Europe Cologne, WEFA International Humanitarian Aid Organization, and the Union of International Democrats (UID), and direct information was obtained about their working models. Our delegation analyzed the activities carried out by these institutions and scheduled the projects to be implemented together within a specific timeline.
Bülbülzade Association and its partner institutions strengthened their ties with civil society networks in Europe through this visit. All these processes, carried out with the international mobility opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ KA151 project, further expanded the association’s sphere of influence in youth work.
