The Science Education Culture Research Center (BEKAM) continues its Focus Group Meetings series in order to examine the institution of family — the cornerstone of social structure — from a multidimensional perspective in light of current dynamics. In this week’s session of the series, young people’s perception of marriage, their approaches to the concept of family, and current social transformations will be discussed in detail with the participation of expert speakers. Moderated by Mesut Aydağ and featuring Psychological Counselor Specialist Ahmet Taşkesen as the speaker, this meaningful gathering will take place on Thursday, May 21, at 20:00 in the Bülbülzade Foundation Conference Hall. The profound effects of digitalization, modernization, and changing socio-economic conditions on family structure will be opened for discussion in all aspects on this platform.

YOUNG PEOPLE’S CONCERNS AND SOLUTION PROPOSALS WILL BE DISCUSSED

Within the scope of the session, the level of emotional satisfaction sought by young people in the marriage process, along with the social and economic concerns they carry under today’s conditions, will be comprehensively analyzed. Participants will also have the opportunity to directly share the original solutions they have developed regarding the family and marriage issues of the younger generation. The BEKAM Board of Directors invites all field experts, stakeholders, and interested citizens to contribute to this important negotiation process in order to identify current problems on-site and develop strong solution proposals for the future.
