BEKAM held the first Focus Group Meeting of the new era under the title “Biological Breakdown” with Associate Professor Dr. Mehmet Baysan.

The Science, Education and Culture Research Center, which organizes Focus Group Meetings under the overarching theme “Human Breakdown,” examined Biological Breakdown with the participation of relevant experts, under the leadership of Associate Professor Dr. Mehmet Baysan and the moderation of BEKAM board member Senior Researcher Dr. İbrahim Özhazar.

At the meeting, which discussed various interventions in human biology, topics such as genetic science, vaccination, gender neutralization, LGBT issues, and pharmaceuticals were addressed, and the concepts of breakdown and change were also examined.

Emphasizing the importance of considering the historical process when approaching breakdowns, Associate Professor Dr. Baysan stated that we need to develop confident perspectives rather than resorting to temporary solutions. In the interactive meeting, where participants also had the opportunity to speak, the importance of a culture of discussion and production was highlighted.

BEKAM’s focus group meetings will continue under the overarching theme “Human Breakdown” with sessions featuring different perspectives and subtopics.
