Past, Present and Future of Kurdish Influence in Northern Syria
Science Education Culture Research Center (BEKAM) has published the workshop report "The Past, Present and Future of Kurdish Influence in Northern Syria, Turkey's Safe Zone Strategies".
In the first of the workshops titled Turkey's Safe Zone Strategies in Northern Syria, organized by BEKAM, the Past, Present and Future of Kurdish Influence was evaluated under the sub-title. The report, which consists of the outputs of a one-day workshop organized with the participation of actors from the field and representatives of relevant civil society and public institutions, consists of two parts.
During the workshop, discussions were made about the safe zones that Turkey created to create in Northern Syria. Evaluating the situation of the Kurdish influence living in the Euphrates Shield operation area, the Operation Olive Branch operation area and the operation area to the East of the Euphrates, to give an idea about the correct management of the process. In the workshop where relevant authorities, non-governmental organizations and public institutions came together, it was aimed to evaluate the situation of Syrian Kurdish influence in safe zones. It is the discussion of suggestions about what can be done in terms of education, health, demography, housing, economy, culture and social psychology in the operation areas. In particular, it is aimed that all parties express their opinions in order to create a stable environment in the safe zone.
The topics of the workshop were determined as a result of the meetings held with the relevant people by the BEKAM Board of Directors. Following the creation of the invitees list, the topics were conveyed to the invitees.

At the beginning of each session, the topic was conveyed to the participants by the moderator. The participants made their speeches by taking the floor.
